GAURIKANTA TALUKDAR LIBRARY
The college's mission to achieve excellence in higher education and research is augmented by
having a well-equipped library. We have a fully computerised library with internet access running
INFLIBNET (SOUL 2.0) service. The Library is being digitalized, with features like barcode scan book
issue and return. In addition to having a total of 37,551 books covering a variety of topics, the
library also subscribes to at least 20 regular journals, 7 daily newspapers, and various magazines.
The library remains open on all working days during college office hours.
The best library user is awarded with the Late Gaurikanta Talukdar Memorial Award. The award is
sponsored by Mr. Lohit Talukdar.
Collections
The library has an extensive collection of books,
textbooks, journals, magazines, etc that span several
academic fields, including the humanities and social
sciences, science, and technology, among others.
Academic journals, popular magazines, and local and
national newspapers are also available through the
library's subscriptions. The library's whole collection as

N-LIST (E-Resource for colleges)
The library is listed on the National Library and
Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly
Content (NLIST) program's database. Users have access to a variety of e-books, e-journals, etc. through NLIST.
Internet & Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available in the campus and users get free
access to Internet services at the library.
Photo copy
The library provides photocopying facility.
Loan privilege
Each member will be given as many readers tickets as
many volumes of Books he/she is entitled to borrow
Book at one time. i.e.
